This fantastic outfit from Austin Texas cite some great influences that will have you biting at the bit to take a listen to their music, those influences are the likes of The Jam, Elvis Costello, Superchunk and The Who to name a few. Do they equal their influences? They certainly do. Smashing out tunes full of hooks and melodies and winning audiences over wherever they go, this debut EP provides a great insight of what we can expect from this band in the future and as if the music wasn't enough, this EP comes on opaque, baby blue 10" vinyl.......what more could you possible want?

The Zags from Portland follow up the release of their brilliant debut single, "It's Over" (also a free download) with the equally infectious "Red Eyed Dawn." This short, sharp shock of pure power pop is just what the doctor ordered. Jangly chiming guitars, harmonies and well crafted lyrics, this really is a great single and it leaves the listener begging for more, which I hope this brilliant 4 piece will soon bestow upon us?

Mixing 50's and 60's garage Bryan Howell offers up something that sounds very familiar but at the same time something very new and refreshing too.
With influences ranging from The Clash to Elvis and The Knack to The Strokes, you just know that Bryan is onto something good with his music and this ep, which has been well received by critics and fans alike, you can rest assured that we will be be hearing great things from Bryan in the future.
One thing that had me hooked almost immediately with the track "Why Oh Why" was the nod and a wink to the great Buddy Holly in the vocal delivery, brilliant!
